In 2011 (according to temporary data), the export express in current prices equaled 554,8 mrd (American: billion) PLN, and import 614,4 mrd PLN.

Foreign trade turnover in total and by countries. January – March 2012
In addition to the imports data according to the Country of origin published up to now it is also presented for the first time in this monthly publication the data according to the Country of consignment.
Country of consignment is the Country from which the goods were initially dispatched to Poland, without any halt or legal operation not inherent in their transport having occurred in any intermediate Country.
Country of origin is the Country in which the goods are wholly produced or the last substantial transformation took place.
This new information added to monthly release of “Foreign Trade Turnover in total and according to Countries” will be an integral part of the publication (Annex 1).
From January to March 2012, the export express in current prices equaled 145,4 mrd (American: billion) PLN, and import 157,4 mrd PLN.
